One of the twelve inspirational sculptures that makes up the “Gospel Garden” at The Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe in Orlando, FL.
An angel protectively shelters Mary and whispers in her ear. The right side of her veil is mysteriously lifted as if by a gentle breeze.
Mary’s facial expression shows her astonishment at the joyful news, as her hand on her womb acknowledges the miracle that is occurring in her.
